The Shambala casino in the Primorye gambling zone will open in August 2020. 3.5 billion rubles have already been invested in the new complex.
The necessary communications are being brought to the new casino, and road works are being completed. By 2022, the second stage will be completed — Shambala will have a 5-star hotel, Spa center, conference hall, etc. Additional investments are estimated at 8 billion rubles.
According to Shambala executives, the launch of the new casino will allow the far Eastern gambling zone to attract even more Asian guests, primarily from Japan, Korea and China.
The first casino of the company “Shambala” was opened in 2004 in Krasnodar. However, due to changes in legislation, it was forced to first stop its activities, and then move to the gambling zone “Azov-city”, which, in turn, closed in early 2019.
At the moment, there is only one casino operating in the Primorye gambling zone — Tigre De Cristal, which reopened after the quarantine on July 16.
Primorye’s expansion plan calls for the opening of another twelve facilities. One of them should be the entertainment center Naga Vladivostok, which will be launched in 2021.
In total, there are four gambling zones in Russia – ” Siberian coin “in the Altai territory,” Primorye “near Vladivostok,” Yantarnaya “in the Kaliningrad region and” Krasnaya Polyana ” in the Krasnodar territory. In the coming years, a new gambling zone in the Crimea should be put into operation.
